The Future of Groundfloor is Bright

Namaste Dear Ground Floor Community,

You may have heard or gotten a message that Ground Floor Yoga was closing as of today, May 23 for good. It brings me so much joy to write to you this afternoon to let you know that not only will our beloved studio at The Factory stay open, but the future looks very bright.

My name is Katherine, I've been teaching at Ground Floor since opening weekend. I, like many teachers and students, burst into tears when I heard the news. I have gotten to meet and know so many wonderful people through our shared love of Yoga. Though our community is intimate at this point, it is very precious to those of us who are privileged to spend time here. I held a prayer in my heart that somehow everything would be rearranged for the better. And God pulled through!

One of our members, Ashlyn Meneguzzi, and I have teamed up to take the wonderful foundation Jessyca and Kyle have created and bring it to its fullest potential. We have spent countless hours in the last weeks working together to make some small and large changes we are very pleased to present to the community and have a big vision of how to move forward to truly create a yoga destination in Franklin.

One of the most immediate things you might notice is a brand new landing page at GroundFloorYoga.com, not only showcasing an exciting upcoming workshop with Nicki Silverman, but also our new pricing structure. We want classes at Ground Floor to be accessible, so the new drop-in price is $25, Unlimited Memberships are $199, and there are packages/ autopay plans for everyone in between.

The second big thing we have been working on is the schedule. We are adding new classes starting next week, earlier in the morning and later in the evening, and will continue to expand the schedule throughout the summer, including bringing on some amazing new teachers.

What else to expect? New changing rooms are being added along with a comfy community space to sit in the lobby, a brand new boutique is being curated with updated apparel styles, books, candles, and other lovely things, but mostly, you can expect the same amazing yoga as before.

In the last decade of being a part of local and international yoga communities, and striving to truly embody this path of Yoga each and every day, I have learned that the most crucial aspect of a successful practice that truly transforms is the Satsang - the gathering of Truth Seekers. I am excited to truly partner with our amazing team to build something that shines brilliant light into Franklin and beyond.

I am very much looking forward to being present and available in the studio on the day to day, not only as a teacher but as a community leader to hear your concerns, answer your questions, and help you grow in your practice.

Yoga has truly transformed my life for the better and I have dedicated my life to sharing that with others. This opportunity to serve you in that capacity is my dream come true. Please let me know if you have any questions.

If you need help reactivating your membership because it was cancelled because of the prior news, send us an email, call the studio, or come see us a few minutes early before class. If for some reason your membership wasn't working for you before, for schedule or other reasons, please also contact me.

I hope to see you at Ground Floor soon! You are truly valued, whether you have come to practice once or you come almost every day.

With Gratitude, Appreciation, and Blessings,

OM Shantih!

ॐ शान्तिः
